Mark Tafoya is the founder of Get Laser Certified and a credentialed Laser Safety Officer (LSO) and Certified Laser Technician (CLT) based in Peoria, Arizona. With more than 20 years of aesthetic laser experience, he has trained cosmetic laser technicians across the state — from Phoenix, Glendale, and Scottsdale to Tucson, Flagstaff, and Show Low — and built the classroom curriculum that prepares new techs to operate Class IV medical lasers safely under Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency (ARRA) rules and A.R.S. Title 30. Outside the classroom, Mark works directly with medspa owners on staff training, laser safety audits, and SOP design.
